For Dutch entities formed before 27 September 2020, the deadline for filing your UBO declaration is 27 March 2022
Step 1
Review structure chart of your organisation
Step 2
Identify the UBO: the natural person who controls more than 25% of the company’s shares, owns more than 25% of the voting rights or has more than 25% of the ownership interest (profits).
Step 3
Prepare UBO declaration, collect supporting documents and provide an explanation for filing with KVK.
Step 4
KVK will notify the company's director once the filing has been accepted

Since 10 January 2020, the Dutch AML Act and the Draft Trade Register Act have come into force. In essence, this means that every company must register its UBO at the Dutch Chamber of Commerce “KVK”.
